I have the tank for this ladies bike. It has the ribs on it that match the ones on your chainguard. Heck, it even has rust on it that matches the rest of your bike.

Yeah, prewar frame for sure. Maybe the wheels and bars, etc. came from a 1951 doner bike. I love it, I wouldn't do anything to it except regrease it and ride it. Very nice score.

Did you get a decent turnout for this ride? When I saw the listing I had already made plans for Saturday. I rode a similar vintage bike ride (from Santa Monica pier) about 6 years ago or so, was this the same group?
