    Craigslist nightmares and dreams...

Re: Craigslist nightmares and dreams... funny stories Maybe I'm not looking in the right place then. The cheapest motor I could find was $150. I know its not worth $650. I figured maybe around $250. I guess I still have some learning to do. I'm still kind of new to the custom bike scene.

    My first rat rod build

That's what I plan on doing when I have the money. I also wanna run a skinny white wall in front. The Rambler in the background is my dads. It's a 1967 with around 22,000 original miles.

Thanx. It's original to the bike. It's kind of odd. The drive side crank arm doesn't come off. The other side is cottered.

That's a good idea. I think I might try some photoshopping first before I start stripping anything. I'm thinking of maybe doing the handlebars in black also.

Ok. Thanks for the info. I'm thinking of repainting the chain guard black to match the rest. I just think it's a little too much red.

20" President from the local flea market

So I decided to check out a flea market I've never been to today. This is what I came home with. 20" girls President bike designed by Scheuer Some various wheels. I paid a buck a piece. The 20" wheels have some really thick spokes.

So I have the frame done. I didn't realize the fork was bent. The bottom bearing race isn't sitting flat. I think I might just get a new springer for it.

    My first rat rod build

So I got a little work done today. I've got the fork sanded, primed, and painted. I'm still working on the frame. It's taking longer than I expected. It's time consuming getting into all the nooks and crannies, lol. I also have the wheels disassembled. One rim is almost ready for primer.

    My first rat rod build

So i've been into bikes almost my whole life. I just turned 30 by the way. After years of being away from the bike scene and focusing on cars i've decided to start messin' with bikes again. I just picked up this Executive Super De Luxe bike and plan on painting it semi-flat black with red rims...

Perhaps we will. I guess vintage bikes and muscle cars go hand in hand.

Hello there everyone. I got into muscle bikes a couple of years ago after buying a '68 Sears Screamer from a good friend of mine. I'd like to build a rat rod. In addition to the screamer I also have a '66 Columbia Playbike and an Executive Super De Luxe. Is there anyone on here that knows any...
