Life of a Biltema cruiser - my first build

Wow, that is a great idea for front suspension. How is it holding up? Do you get much lateral flex? I have the same fork and it seems the toughest out of all I've seen.. Seems like a good idea.. My rake angle is increased, so with the same fork I have more trail, could use a little less for low...

Opinion question - Legal or no?

It's not a matter of opinion. Check the dmv site for laws. You will likely need to register it and have at least a car class license. In ca the form is for a motorized bike but on the registration it said its a moped. Go figure. The reg application asks 4 questions that need to be answered yes...

a taste of whats to come.

Hey man.. nice looking bike! That front fork offset isn't going to work. It's potentially extremely unstable. You have a lot of positive trail which works fine for low speeds, but it will be a disaster at higher speeds. I would stay with that double crown fork. If you still want a shock you can...

    The Racing Pedigree

I would like to add some of my advice, mostly proven experience. As a machinist by trade, I can tell you I prefer to have all the welding on my project done by a professional. I could go and buy a welder, and learn how to weld, but the peace of mind will never be there. I will just stick to...
