Hello, I'm Tony from San Jose, CA. I have enjoyed lurking around this site and seeing all the cool builds and ingenuity of the members here.. and thought I might register. I have been into bikes for a while... I used to work on cargo/people carrying bikes and got hooked when I built a little road bomber "rat bike" with a coaster rear wheel and caliper front brake, and 26x1.5" road tires for beer runs 8)
Pictured below is a city/cafe bike with an 80's 3-spd frame with 700c wheels, 90mm drum front and 2-speed kickback rear.. it was a very smooth looking bike and I sold it after spending 10 hours building it and 3 hours riding it over the course of a year :mrgreen: Currently building a briggs-powered stretched '79 schwinn cruiser, will start up a build thread in a bit.
