who heats their garage? what do you use?

I work in an uninsulated 3 car garage. I have moved a "buddy heater" around the garage with me for years now. I just set it up where I work for a particular project. I hook up a 20lb. propane tank to the buddy heater so it lasts a long while. It all works like a champ- no smell or residuals...

3 speed ladies triumph- I want to change the chainring!

Clearance is tight where the seat stays and chain stays meet at the dropouts. I figure that if I have more teeth on the cog, its diameter will increase. At some point, the cog will be too big for that combined area and rub on either the chain stay or the seat stay. But... I realize that a 22T...

3 speed ladies triumph- I want to change the chainring!

Wow thanks all! I had read that cottered crank article a day before I posted this question. I have been unsuccessful so far in removing the cotters, and therefore the cranks and the chain ring. I like the link to Bikesmith and their various cogs. I think I will try a 22T cog. That is a move...

3 speed ladies triumph- I want to change the chainring!

    gas engines

I am fairly new to motored bicycles, but I think the easiest kit that allows you to run a 4 stroke engine is a friction drive setup. The majority of bicycle engine kits that are inside the frame are 2 strokes. Friction drive kits are often mounted over the back wheel.

I want a 3 speed hub- where do I start?

Thanks for the fast replies! I checked out the bikepartsusa website and saw 3 speed wheel pairs for about 170. I then looked at the Huffy Regatta 3 speed at wally world for 150. If I were to purchase a regatta, is there any way I can be sure that its rear wheel can fit on to my cranbrook? They...

I want a 3 speed hub- where do I start?

Hi All, I recently purchased a Huffy Cranbrook. I want a 3 speed hub so I can tolerate riding it around my hilly town. It seems to me that there are three options... 1. Find an old wheel that has a 3 speed hub already built in, and it might fit my bike? 2. Purchase a 3 speed hub, and all...
