Thanks for the replies it's a roamer with steel 28inch rims. I was just wondernig when they switched from wood to steel. I'm guessing the bike is 1920's maybe 30's possibly newer. Looks like niagra cycles has the 28 x1 1/2 tires for $27.00 a piece. Hope those are the right ones.

JimmyB i got the 49cc grubee hooked up to a 60's monark. I noticed your woood enging mounts pretty clever. They are fun to ride so far I got about 30 miles everytime I ride i expect to pedal home but hasn't let me sit yet

Take some steel wool and wd-40 to a small spot on the frame. The last three vintage bikes I got that were spray painted still had the original paint underneath. You never know
