Thanks for pic CCR it looks a lot neater. I like how white your tyres are. My fat Franks are only about 6 months old and they went yellow/brown fairly quickly I've been told we have one of the highest UV levels over here. Sign makers can only guarantee 10 year vinyl for 7 years over here.

I bought this bike second hand I've changed the handle bars, pedals and removed the fenders, they're definitely staying off. But I'm unsure about which tyres? and .... to keep or loose the chainguard? Any opinions or suggestions? Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3 Pic 4

Thanks bmxerpete, I had to google some pics of a brake arch as I've never seen one before. I kinda get what you mean, I'm going to have to sketch some plans on paper. Not sure if an extended arch would take the pressure in the direction of the wheel moving when the brakes are applied.

I really like the derailleur gears and want to keep them.

I want to put replace 26" wheels with 24" wheels on an alloy frame Electra Coaster (derailleur gears), but I don't think the vpull brakes will work as the "lug" on the frame where the brakes are mounted on is welded to the frame and not movable to reposition the brakes. Any ideas or suggestions ?
