It's funny one of the main things that turned me away from the silver and red with scallops that I laid out, was when I pulled up a pic of HEXtreme to show the detail I did with the shifter speedholes and I realized I did silver with red scallops on that build. Then I got to thinking, I've done a lot of silver/chrome/raw aluminum bikes. Flexy BO7, SaltHammer BO11, Holeshot BO13, SteamRoller (accent color) BO15, and HEXtreme B)16.

It's like I'm Yukon Cornelius with a taste for silver.

So I looked back through my varied BO18 inspiration pics and saw this one. Basically a rolling chalkboard. I got this big surface to play with on this bike. Why not chalkboard paint and chalk and striping accents with colored chalk. I know it's been done on RRB, but not that often. I remember bighit did it in BO7, then after research I see that @aka_locojoe did it all the way back in Build Off 1 !!!!!

Many of the pics that I've saved off are cars with cool chalky like lettering and such. Here are a few. I'll post up some others that are stored on my phone. Plenty of inspiration though. This is gonna be fun!!!

Gonna get an early start tomorrow sanding down the car body first. I want to get it into paint first so that I can start feeling this out. Still haven't decided yet if I'll paint the frame at all. Throughout this whole build, I've kinda liked the contrast between the aluminum and shiny pieces and the naturally crusty frame.
Earlier today, I picked up some of the spray chalkboard paint by Rustoleum as well as a 48 color box of sidewalk chalk.
