We had a tornado warning so I didn't get much done today, the new vise was calling my name, so I started mounting it.
The guy who bought it originally never mounted it, so I had this handy template!
Drill and oil!!! I don't wanna ruin a bit.
First holes drilled, I am gonna take it easy and work up to 11/16. The bench is 5/8 AR plate and I don't want to ruin a bit. Snap On recommends a 11/16 hole drilled and a 5/8 Cap Screw for the fasteners. Anyone know the difference between a bolt and a cap screw?
It's bigger than I thought it would be, also heavier. It's a beast and I love it.
