Posted the earlier pics before I had to go inspect one of our rentals where a tenant had moved out. I was in a mad dash to get the seat and pedals on before Queenfish made me stop playing and be an adult.
After untaping the pedals and mounting them, I put the seat back together. I am pleased with the paint choices on the seat. Looks like I missed one of the nuts though.

All of those checkers remind me of the following definition:

LOL!!!! Yeah, two tone checkerboard is very prevalent in Ska. Maybe I should get a spiffy hat with a pencil thin checkerboard tie.
AND you would need a couple sweet horns. Ska is loaded with sweet horns. ( a checker horn? )
Those pedals look huge! The seat is a piece of art. This bike got more impressive every time I look.
You should get a black chain and a white chain and alternate every other link. It really doesn't take as long as you would think to do, it takes longer...ask me how I know.
That would be cool. I just don't think I have the time though.
Pretty sure Gusset sells a few that are already black/white alternating if you want to do a search...
Been busy with a rental and my day job. I did find my GT piston stem and figured it was appropriate for this build.
Did a mock up with black electrical tape on the bars to make sure that I wanted them black.
I liked it, so I primed them in flat black yesterday.
Followed today by the Carbon Mist that I used on the seat springs.

The final coats of Carbon Mist finally dried on the Mothras and the Piston stem.
I REALLY like the GT Piston Stem on here.
I also like how the bars look in black carbon mist against the contrast of the frame and forks

Gonna wrap up Holeshot Sunday. Not much left besides taping the bars. Oh yeah and a last minute useless but fun doodad that popped in my head tonight when I saw this leftover tub part from our rental.
