Tried out a 700c wheel to see if it would change the negative trail, but it really didn't.

But I did notice that the stationary and springer fork legs weren't exactly parallel. Made some adjustments so they were parallel, which actually jacked up the front just a little. It reduced the negative trail from 4" to only 2".

While I was at it I decided to try @gowjobs suggestion of putting a stem between the fork plates. I also decided to try out the mega half moon cruiser bars that I took off of my ladies JetFlow.

Tested one of the chain mail grips I got from @josh_from_ga too.

I like the stem like that. The top of the fork plate is a platform for some KF doodaderies! It's like a little dashboard.

I still may end up shortening the top end of the fork but who knows.
Definitely some geegaw room on the top plate.

I don't know the bike rides with any fork yet. Should be able to take it out some time this weekend though.
