Time for an update! A couple of things finally happening...I got around to priming the frame and I got the cranks together. (Did I ever say I hate painting?) .....I HATE painting....It usually stalls my builds. Anyway still undecided on color, here she is in the paint booth...

Priming done

I found this sweet pile o' parts on CL the guy sold everything for $20. Among the multitude of cool stuff, I managed to find a sprocket and stem...

To make this chainring work I had to "borrow" one off my old mountain bike that I converted to single speed. (didn't like the purple and yellow :lol: ) I hate to take parts off a finished bike, but oh well I will come back it eventually.

Here is my new old crankset, done. I also picked up some DK pedals from Walmart, they'll do just fine.
And thanks to Chimi, I will be using this SWEET chrome chain.

So thats it for now, I hope to decide on a color and get it painted within the week.
