We may have missed the mail yesterday due to the ice here, but they managed to make the rounds today and KevinM's packaged arrived.

Had to bring the bike into the house today since it's waaaay too cold to play out in the garage.

I managed to trim the cables down to a shorter length and also install all of the Shimano cable guides.


Loving these dual cable clamps...

These smaller clamps worked perfectly on the chainstays...

Here's my creative use of a couple of hose clamps...

Tried to keep the clean look going with some zip ties in the front...

These clamps really helped tie the whole raw industrial look together.

A big thanks again to Kevin for sending these over. :wink:

Next upgrade on the list will be lacing some minty UKAI 26x1.75 hoops to the Nexus 7.

I'll probably end up using a high flange hub up front too.

Took a few updated pics this evening with the new seat and name plate installed. Still have plans to lace on an 80s set of UKAI 1.75" hoops that I have....that will be the finishing touch.

This just looks great....The tires look huge with out the logos and really pop! next to all the bare metal

Yeah...I really love the 7 speed with the roller brake....lots of options and stops pretty well too.

Once I get the 1.75" UKAI's laced in the wheels will have a beefier look to them too.

Here she is with the freshly built UKAI wheel set and Holy Rollers installed.

About the only else I want to do is eventually get a set of those raw KOS repop bars off of Ebay...just need to save up for those. :wink:
