Finally I can call Ground Zero a finished bike. I don't think it will ever truly be done, as I'm sure I will tweak things here and there for a different look or function. For now I'm going to enjoy it as a complete rideable bike, and have myself a cold one! 8)

I'd like to say, there is so much talent, creativity, and monster-garage engineering around this website, that I feel like a kid in a candy store. So much to look at, learn from, be in awe of. I've really enjoyed this build, not just my own creation but watching everyone else's come together as well. It felt like everyone pulled out all the stops for this one, and everyone new and old created some outstanding bikes.

Hope you enjoy mine as much as I've enjoyed the others! 8)

Presenting Ground Zero!

Wicked bike. It would be cool to take BEER RUN and Scooby Snack on a ride with Ground Zero.
I am digging your style!
Plus, I want that keg!

GREAT BIKE !! I DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING! LOVE IT ALL. PEACE

Two things I love on this bike: That line from the forks through bars is just slick looking and the seat "bag"... so cool!

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments and support through the build.

I'm proud to be a part of this Buildoff and this website. The best thing about it is the folks you meet on here!

So tonight, we go out to a car show, and what's there? The hot rod that inspired my color choices when I first saw it over 2 years ago.

1923 T-Bucket with black paint, "scuffed" orange highlights, orange details on engine, orange and black seat cover, orange finned brake drums, and more orange accessories. I got to talk to Earl and he's a cool guy, invited me and my wife to other shows for the local club. I gotta get one of their plates... "Rod Benders- New London CT". 8)

I hope so too! It would look great next to the Young American... It will be on display at the Custom Bike Show tomorrow in New London.
