Kingfish and OJ meeting up for a bike ride at the intersection of Summit Avenue and Jones Street; 1329 miles apart.
Man, this bike is just cool. Even if you don’t change the finishes at all it’s really good. Due to the wheel discs I’ve started thinking of this as the world’s fastest rat bike, kind of a spinoff of the Munro Special. I’ve also taken a liking to that splash of red on the tank and don’t know if I would change it now. Very cool.
...And how is that different from one old man playing with a bike?On the ride, I had to take advantage of the empty bandshell with the water on. Usually people are playing here.

The way it tapers toward the rear plays well with the tank too. It's a good chainguard for this bike.Starting the layout and placement of the Evans chainguard. I just how well this flows with downtube and chainstays.
Yep, just the right length for the downtube bend. It looks like it came with it.Starting the layout and placement of the Evans chainguard. I just how well this flows with downtube and chainstays. This configuration would give me clearance of 1/2" above the chainline.

It certainly is a good fit.
Maybe some graphics could enhance it even more!

Presenting the kingfish chainguard.
Once, a lady watched me go through this routine with Duck Norris down by the river. After a few minutes she approached me and asked if I'd like her to take a picture of me with my bike.Honestly, it has to look pretty funny seeing an old man posing and staging his bike. Taking photos at different angles. Getting on his hands and knees for some photos. I'm glad to provide entertainment for them
I tell them the Smithsonian asked for a pic.Once, a lady watched me go through this routine with Duck Norris down by the river. After a few minutes she approached me and asked if I'd like her to take a picture of me with my bike.
"No thanks, ma'am. Only the bike is famous, not me."
