Well I'm only 16 so I have alot of bikes to come and maybe a few 4 wheeled rats are in my future. But I gotta say I know alot about bikes for my age it's just I don't know how to WELD. So I can't roll out many eye piping head turning bikes yet. But maybe someday.
Sounds like me.

I still havent learned the magic of welding...I just recently learned to Lace.

We might not have the internet then. We will probably have my underground caverns all worked out, and we will be meeting every weekend.

Yeah it's not all that hard to learn, I currently don't have a welder thanks to a buddy burning mine up but I know how to weld. My best advice is just get a decent wire feed welder (the Chinese freight ones work fine just a tip they work better with Lincoln wire run in them (less spatter)) and just start welding some scrap pieces of metal together and try to beat them apart with a hammer. If the weld lets go on the first blow then do it over. If you break the hammer and the weld is still intact you're good.

Just takes a little practice. Don't try to weld anything expensive till you get the hang of it.
AND DON'T FORGET THE SAFETY GEAR!!! WEAR A WELDING HELMET AND GLOVES!!!

I posted just to see how many I have after looking at all of yours. Im sure its not that high. I can only type with one finger and have a short attention span so thats my excuse and im stickin with it. As for welding I suggest Jesse James's welding book. I checked it out at one of the lbs (thats local book stores) and seems to have alot of helpful tips in it. Relax your shoulders that helps too.
