1 1/4" x 26 TPI Headset

Can someone "PLEASE" help me in finding a 1 1/4" x 26 TPI Headset. It's for a very old' unknown name Tandem, with British Standard threading.

Posting from cheapest to most expensive. Ebay may have some offerings too.

Do you need the whole headset or just the bearings? Bearings you could just loose fit in the cups or you could buy one of these. http://www.google.com/products/catalog? ... IUBEPMCMAI

Or order a reducer so you can use a 1 1/8" headset but you would need a new fork too.

The Tandem is at least a 1930s. I need the "Whole Headset" "Please". Something that looks Old. I guess old is to be expected with British Standard Threads. I can't seem to find a headset anywhere. I need Help!!! Thank You

Please post up a pic if you have one. Also what is the manufacture? How did you measure the fork?

The Shimano's listed would work as I read they are 26 tpi. I think it will be hard to find something vintage looking.

I know, no one is listening to what you are asking for. The old British tandems used oversize headsets many decades ago.
Try Hillary Stone in England, if it is not in stock now they will find one eventually.
