New tyres and tubes fitted today and managed to track down the correct brake rod set up to get the front drum working. New parts will have to be toned down to match the old parts.

When I took on the project it had a regular rim rod brake set up on the back so I have hooked this back up until I can track or make the rods needed for the back. Shouldn't be too hard to knock something together with this for a guide

I mixed up some ivory black pigment with a drying oil to knock back the gold parts that were bothering me and it did the trick nicely and balanced out with one more oil over everything.

Next up is to track down a time appropriate saddle and the indicator set up for the kb hub. It doesn't seem to accept a regular indicator chain and I am struggling to find what I need so it's running as a single speed right now.

Test ride will have to wait until tomorrow though because the kids want feeding
