Hi - I just posted my intro, and now here's my first question. I was gifted a brand new set of 24" 144 spoke wheels. I wanted to use these to start a new project, but I'm not really into the bling-bling look. Has anybody put these on there bike without making it look like the cliched lowrider? Any pics? Anyway to refinish them or make them look aged? Just throwing ideas out there. Any advice is certainly appreciated. Thanks.

If it were me I'd list them on Ebay.

I can't get past the lowrider connection when I see them.

Sort of like Daytons on an Impala.

Rat Rod, I couldn't agree with you more. Not my style.

I've gone the ebay route several time with this set, even Craigslist. I can't give them away!

Multi spoke wheels can be kinda funny sometimes....I personally like them....when used tastefully. It all depends on the rest of the project though really.

List them in the classified section here....good pics and a good price will get em gone.

144s on my wife's bike. They sure get attention.

i just got a set as well...

i too was afraid of this "bling" reference you speak of...

not anymore...

i will take a pic tomorrow...

Locojoe,
the wife's bike looks excellent!

i think it's all relative to the context of the bling and keepin' it real...

depends on the bike...if you make the bike LOOK like a lowrider...

coupled with WW and Fat Fenders, I don't think they are a bad look...plus you already have them (cost saver!)

just my $.02

Thanks for the comments on the wife's bike. I'll pass it along.

I think this bike will be changing in the near future though.
