I would probably pay $40 if I really liked it. A very nice original is worth $200. I would be willing to bet that if the bike isn't chrome, it's red under that gold paint. Those were about the only two options. :)

Is this guy in California? :D

i kinda like that bike. $200 sounds kinda high, but only $30 is low. i'd go up to like $80 or even $100 cuz it is classic and that murray frame has a spaceliner style at least to it, although it is not one.

LOL, I see that kind of pricing all the time. Give him your number and the most you'll pay. He may very well call. WIth all the parts there, I believe it is worth more like $75. Try finding a tank somewhere and you'll see. However it is your money so only do what you can live with.

A new cheap coaster bike is $90.oo plus sales tax. If the wheels weren't so rusty, I'd say it was worth as much. It just isn't old or unusual enough to be worth more than that. Only my opinion, of course.

id say early 60's, pre 66'. i have two of those "new" cruiser bikes (one next lajolla and a huffy cranbrook), paid about $90 to $105 for each and id take that tankbike for the same price in a heart beat.
