I've had this a couple years but was told it was a 1920 Mead Ranger. With some help from Niconator, we've decided it's 1917 Schwinn World Motobike

Not a skip tooth? Excuse my ignorance but I thought all older bikes were skip tooth.

Some early bikes were offered with chains that we consider common today. At that time they were a new innovation and where actually a more expensive option for higher end bikes.

Where most/many are skip tooth on prewar bikes you will find quite a number that are 1/2" pitched. Monark's and Hawthorne's to name a couple, you will find prewar 1/2" pitch drives. Here is some info on my 1917 World Schwinn.
