1933 motobike?

Ok guys; the more I look at this thing, the more I’m baffled

I THINK it’s a 1933 Rollfast or Elgin motobike.

However, there’s no way I can prove it.

There’s no serial number of any type on the bike:

The Crystal Lake license I’ve tried to track; Crystal Lake in NY is not responsive, Crystal Lake Illinois is still trying to research the number

And, oddly, the license that was used as a head badge when removed, revealed asymmetric holes…. As in, not a regular production bike. (??????)

Finally, I looked to see if there was factory paint under that ugly red…. Nope! The only thing under the red is bare metal!!!!!

Any input anyone has would be greatly appreciated

Totally Snyder with the "Volcano" joins on the BB and indented chain stays. Surprised no serial number, quite odd. Ground away at one point????? Early rollfast badges are asymetrical in mounting holes, 1 5/8" apart center to center and the left hole about 1/8" below the right.
