Here's a Garage sale find yesterday. Mostly complete aluminum frame 1935 Ladies Monark Silver King (first year).

Only thing missing that I know of is the battery pack for the headlight. Needs recrome on the really rusted chainguard, crank, neck and wheel set.

I was considering the frame for a nice Ratrod next year but instead I think it may become my winter restoration project.

Hello,
Yes 24" wheels. From what I can gather, all 1935 Monark Bikes had 24" wheel sets.

RAT it or ROD it!....... Heres how 26 inch wheels fit. Just be aware, those frames have a lot of flex.

Wow, personally I wouldn't rat it. I'd just take it apart, buff it out till it glows, and then re-assemble it. That frame is elegant, and I've never thought of a bike as elegant before!
