Very nice work. Love the fact you bobbed the fender and use the drop stand as well. I wish I could get a fender on mine with the 24x3 tires so that I could use a drop stand. Can't stand not having a stand.

This 1935 Silver King is one of my Top 5 Bikes of 2013 Selections... Say it out loud.... "Nineteen F-ing Thirty Five"! Awesome....

There were a lot of great things going on in industrial and consumer design back then, in spite of being still in the throes of the Great Depression. The wonderful streamliner trains, the 1938 Jaguar SS100 'experimental' that became the XK120, etc.
Of course, even then I couldnt have afforded anything but maybe the bike.
