Hey Ron
Please update, if possible.
I rode my 35 Rolfast to work on Monday, 40 degrees on the way in and rain on the way home and I smiled all the way!
Thanks,

Hey, guys! Some of you watching this build must be wondering where the heck I've been for the past while. Well, I've been busy with life and tracking down more parts for this build. Money has been going other places as well. (you all know how that goes) [emoji1]
Anyway, back on subject. I have been searching for months now to find a toolbox tank for this beast to no avail. I couldn't afford a nos one and certainly not an original. (I don't have 500 bucks for one) However, today at work whilst sorting some stuff in the back room at the shop I stumbled upon some steel that gave me my breakthrough! One of my best skills is in steel fab and I had been scratching my head trying to figure out how to build a tank for this thing. Here you have it! I stayed late at work and here is what I have so far...
If you are wondering what the steel is from the were hangers for some gladiator wall cabinets my uncle didn't use. Well, one man's trash I suppose... [emoji12]
Anyway sorry for the wait. I hope to have the tank finished soon and ready for prep and paint! Just gotta throw some more sparks first!
I opted to buy new tires so I don't have a blowout when I'm riding. I also had the steer tube threaded for use on this frame. I took a minute to test fit again just to see what it would look like. The rack needs some tweaking and there needs to be small adjustment here and there before paint. It certainly has that heavy motobike look and feel. I can't wait to wear out that new set of tires! Hey guys! It's been a while and I'm sorry... I just recently left my job of 7 years and moved to the city with my girlfriend to start fresh so life has been crazy for me. The rollfast project is nearly finished but not how I wanted it to be. I will get some pics next time I'm at my parents house for you guys. It's getting stored there until I get settled in at my new apartment.
