Traditionally, id say plain, but i love the red on this bike. Just the right shade to pop, but in old paint. Love it.

It's all about the tanklights
Just didn't like the rusty look on the Winner fender light so I attacked it with the brass cup brush.
Ahhhhh, that's better.

Picked up a mate for this Colson over the weekend.
Paint is non-existent. Heavy pits throughout.
I'm seeing another bare metal theme for her.
This one will be a challenge. ...I like it[emoji12]

Yeah its a good match.
Started to clean her up a bit this morning and there some paint left on parts of the bike. But the pits are just so deep throughout.
Maybe the Colson experts on serial numbers can pin down this one.
"J8"....has a small "2" stamped near the rear stays.
