Got this goodie for $20. It's got a similar frame as a 1940 Monark "Superframe" (see page 19 Evolution of the Bicycle II) Cool and different. :)

There are several different 4-Bar women’s frames that were produced. That is not the Monark version which featured continuous downtubes that ran under the bottom bracket and became the rear chainstays. The frame you have is the one that H.P. Snyder produced (a boys version was also made) for Montgomery Ward. Most of the Snyder 4-bars frames were probably produced in 1938 and possibly into 1939 but were not still being made in 1940.
