Alright, I have run in to a problem seems that who ever owned this bike most likely took it off a jump. The steer tube is bent back at a 45 degree angle.

Can we get a shot of more of the crown and steer meeting. It looks like the bend is in the steer above the bottom race... If so, I personally would be more comfortable repairing it knowing it's not in he crown to go back again. You could defiantly swap it with minimal noticeable evidence.
Still a beauty.

Cool bike Scbl.... It's great when you start with something intact with original paint. Amazing what some spit/polish/steel wool and linseed oil can do! Like the blackwall bricks as well. It's amazing that anyone can run a bike into a curb or wall at speed in order to bend a fork that badly. I can't imagine anyone doing that, but I think you can bend it back with some of the creative ideas put forth on this site! skpc.....

Alright fork is fixed and I'm back at it, I pulled a trick out of @kirkpatrick tool box to fix the fork. And it work like a charm.

Thats a good idea, but he lives in Seattle so there would be lots of shipping hassle. Also he's one of those if it's not Schwinn it's not worth anything guys, that's way I got this for such a good deal the Schwinn snobs don't really play nice with me since I tend to collect everything. But don't get me wrong I love my Schwinn's but I have never got the whole this one brand is for me thing.
