1941 Schwinn Cycle Truck...(CHANGES 10/8)

Found in an antique shop locally.

The rack and guard where incorrect, so I pulled them off. The chainring is also wrong but I like it.

For the price I paid. I can't complain.

Made a few corrections.

Swapped the chainring to a Schwinn.

Painted the bike a more classic cycle truck color. Then distressed the paint.
Metallic purple just wasn't doing it for me.

Installed a new piece of plywood and stained it.

Then gave it a cleaning and re-greasing from top to bottom.

Overall, This is turning out to be a nice bike.

I'd like to hunt down a panel, guard, decal set and badge if anyone has anything.

It's cool how you painted the sign board to look like grass with a touch of mulch at the top. Very impressive!

You need a bird wing guard. I'm not sure if the Cycle Truck takes a different length or just a standard bird wing. Gary
