Last project of the year: 1946 Hercules Royal Model C. This is the "compact" version of a rod brake roadster. 26 inch wheels and 21 inch frame.

This is indeed the finished product. It came with a matching ladies bike, which is the next project for my wife. I did not get day-to-day pictures of this one because I didn't want to lose any time building. The cold weather is on the way, though this December has been milder than most... so far.

Here's the bike as it stands now: I swapped to a Brooks B66, which I like better than the 72.

Got a nice, old set of celluloid Apex grips. The longer days are nice to have for evening rides.
