I found this bike on craigslist and I purchased it for the springer fork and front drum brake. The guy I bought it from said that it was his fathers bike and at one point he thought it had a motor on it. When I finally got the bike home I started to notice a bunch of odd characteristics about the frame and the fenders. After some research I found that these characteristics match those if a 1948 roadmaster whizzer. Any help identifying this bicycle or the year would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Chase

I met a guy with an original wizzer schwinn, wz model. I was grilling him up, down, left & right. One of the big indicators of being purpose built to take a motor is the seat stay on the left. A lot of times, the stay is bent or crimped to accommodate the chain.

This is an older bike, don't know if they continued to produce motormasters. It would be worth some research.
