Rolling frame w/roadmaster loaner front

A better rolling frame w/proper Hookworms slung… Roadmaster does not have to loan a shoe anymore… i kinda like the mis-match….

Also:

-trim superfluous rack mount stays/etc

-(Re)consider raising F rack to improve F BR and BR hardware clearances.

-inspect/repack confirm R hub.
-Remove/alter dang-ol squeaky, left R axle gasket to silence the darn thing.

If it is rubbing enuf to squeek? Even if TriFlow did shut it up (for now) ….that means there must be contact w/the rolling surface. This must not be! I could slim it a bit. Either way rolling resistance must be optimized.

commute w/new wheel shakedown.. 15.3 mph with hundreds of yards of cruise… So fun.
Rides like you want to keep on riding… barrels along.. That Stolen rim… it is a blaster and it all feels so balanced now… i pushed the bars fwd slightly…. Gravy gravy gravy. Still more work to be done

More from last night… storm ride…. Rode down a massive pedway ramp… 4” of snow… wanted to haul it back up… what a blast…. Felt very pioneer klunky

Under all that snow is the “new” R brake …in test mode …these teenie brakes are from a Schwinn Predator. Ya i got two brakes ….

the only thing sketch are the brakes…. Maybe they can be improved.

i found a 1/4 inch eyebolt in the basement… threaded that right into the hole for the fender and it was off to the races!

I bored out some mtb brake pad fasteners and that provided a centering to the eyebolt… the brake slipped onto that and centered nicely. Using mtb brake hardware it even swivels into tolerence. Wowzers!!!

Worked to the last second right up against the storm commute.

images of the R brake will follow… what a night
