I held out for Red brake housings… compressionless kevlar to try to fix the woeful old school bmx levers

advance to the avid brakes from the Roadmaster that carried this bike in pieces to the shop

The bike goes like stink

so much fun it’s a bike ya get excited about riding

final build night….



-Went w/F/R red brake compression-less housing
-added beefy Avid brakes
-added “Specialized” cable guides on the straight bar for R brakes
-nipped w/boltcutters, my “1917” 1/4 inch eyebolt excess… my bodge that improv’d the R brake … filed it nice w a file
-trimmed, rounded lower parts of F rack stay excess. Raised the whole rack up higher, off the F brake
-pushed the seat back.
-Proofide the seat
-
leveled the 9-hole R rack to match frame symmetry
-leveled the 9-hole R rack to match frame symmetry
-washed off the salt/dirt a bit

so much fun thanks to all the Klunkers that klunked before

All this tension has a dang kink in my neck!…

i mean sheesh… @MattiThundrrr infusing winter wonderland images calmed me down but this 70 degree in Chicago and now it snows…. Overthinking it…

i should-a studied my wordings… always with the books…. oy wit my Dang-ol night-time photos, reading suggestions after the wire…. and gol-durn bathroom selfies and such….
