Picked up this Evans Sonic Scout tonight for 60 Canadian, I don't know if that was a good deal or not. It's missing some stuff but is complete enough to get it rideable with a lil work. It has a Wald basket and Wald pedals. The coaster brake arm has the name New Departure on it. The guy I bought it from thought it was a Hiawatha but I found the Sonic Scout scrip on the chain guard afterwards and google says that's an Evans model. Serial number is B062069G26, I am hoping someone can help me out with some more info on this thing.

My first bike was a 24" Evans Sonic scout. Same as that bike with the long curvy rack. I haven't found a serial number code for Evans. They were making bikes 1954 until 1962, and were originally Colson bikes before that.

Working bike, plus all those accessories, for only 60 CDN pesos? Yeah, that's a good deal. That chain guard with matching fender is epic, and the rear rack too
