1951 Schwinn World Traveler

picked this up today
it has an older conversion to a 9speed with a Huret Allvit derailleur The triple cog on back is from Cyclo
should be a fun winter project
anyone know if the brake levers and brakes are correct? I think it should have Schwinn Script brakes
I am thinking it was a deep red originally

yea the front is peaked and it came with an NOS chrome front fender

The brakes look English to me.

it has an internal 3 speed hub with a 3 speed cog and a derailleur so 3x3=9

bet that is a 1/8 inch chain...
I atempted to get a cyclo cog from harris...
but they were all sold out...
i hope you are going to restore her...
she is a classic with the perfect aftermarket parts...

Those are the correct brake levers. I recently sold my '52 Schwinn World which had the same setup. Nice find, BTW!

Brakes are correct too, same ones on my '53 World Varsity that looks like the same bike in 3 speed.
