picked this up today
it has an older conversion to a 9speed with a Huret Allvit derailleur The triple cog on back is from Cyclo
should be a fun winter project :)
anyone know if the brake levers and brakes are correct? I think it should have Schwinn Script brakes
I am thinking it was a deep red originally

Ok it is late and I just finished looking at the impala build up (brain is toast) Please explain the 9 speeds?

it has an internal 3 speed hub with a 3 speed cog and a derailleur so 3x3=9 :)
Wonder how well it works and is it worth doing..hmmm

bet that is a 1/8 inch chain...
I atempted to get a cyclo cog from harris...
but they were all sold out... :cry:
i hope you are going to restore her...
she is a classic with the perfect aftermarket parts...

Those are the correct brake levers. I recently sold my '52 Schwinn World which had the same setup. Nice find, BTW!
