What and where is the pike2bike ride?

That is an idea for one of our future rides next spring,it's an abandoned 8.5 mile section of the original Pa. Turnpike near Breezewood,it was abandoned in 1968,it has 2 tunnels on it,Ray's Hill & Sideling Hill,the shortest and longest of the Turnpike tunnels,it was featured in the Viggo Morteson movie "the Road". When I look at your bike it reminds me of the old Firestone logo "where the rubber meets the road"

I haven't seen any Snyder built Firestones older than 1957. Does it have the year in reverse stamped on the BB? -Adam

BB = bottom bracket? I didn't notice it. I hope I didn't grind it off. I had to repair a weld on the very bottom of the bottom bracket.
