You sure found a nice one. Being a cheaper bike, I suppose they were more common at one time. Not so common now. My restored '41 with the short 16" frame. Gary

You know it's funny you mentioned that, mine is all original, the person who purchased this DX had some extras added on at the shop. Things like full locking springer, B-6 front and rear fenders. Kind of unique I think. I guess he wanted a DX, but with some bells and whistles. Ha! Ha!

I wish my DX had the sweet paint that yours has. This is the head badge that came on my DX for reference.

Finally took the 52 Schwinn DX out for a ride. Man this is geared high. This is a skiptooth, but the equivalent gearing is 56T front x 14T rear. Still a great ride.
