What a great morning. It feels like Christmas!!!
While buying the 61 Firebolt, I also bought this cool Columbia from the same seller. What a great guy with cool stuff.
I'll post photos later, but in the meantime, check out this video he had posted of the Columbia. It has some new Electra fat whitewalls on it.

Thats a nice Tank bike find .. I also like the Thunderbolt/Firebolts I like Columbias anyways I have mostly Columbias... I have this one its on my to do list I found a guard & crank.I also have wheels Im just not sure what I want to do with this one.. I dont know weather to build it stock.I may just save this for the next build off . But Im lucky that I have other options for the build off If I get to this one before the next build off. ( I really dont need another stock Columbia bike .) .. or Go the Thick Brick white wall custom route ..

I recently picked up a very similar 52 Columbia in close to the same condition. I thought the bike was a brownish red like yours but after a wet sand and polish the original red really came through. Yours will clean up really well with a little time and elbow grease.

Great job on the wet sanding Bri! Do you have a build thread for that bike. I think the flash actually makes the paint look better than it really is, but we'll see.

Mine didnt look too good before hand, I was shocked that it was a totally different color than what was on the surface.

Beauty!!! You have the same frame darts that I have, but most of the other 1950s Columbia's don't have the cool long arrows like mine. I still haven't looked up where to find the serial to date the bike. I know nothing about Columbia's but I am seeing references to 3 star and 5 star. The research begins.
