Hey All, got this Hornet Thursday at an estate sale in Irving Tx. Fell in love as soon as I seen it. Think it is a 1956 model not to sure though. Can you tell if that is correct?

Welcome to RRB JRand,
I saw the pic of your beautiful Hornet in the link you supplied in your intro.
It's a great looking bike that seems all correct to my eye and will clean up beautifully.
Any info you need on cleaning her up safely can be found within the forum.
Congratulations, She's a keeper!
FYI, There are two sizes of rims on old Schwinns that are stamped near the valve whole. An S2 is a standard size 26" tire, an S7 takes a more specific tire size.

Here's a link to help posting pics more successfully on the Forum. I unsuccessfully tried copying/pasting your image here. Welcome.
