Just picked up this original paint Schwinn. It also has the original Schwinn Spitfire tires. Looks like it will clean up good.

If you get the right paint to match that with the original color, and make some white trim seem original, that would be something else.
I agree. Maybe something like this but with a better saddle, tires and bars!

Started breaking this one down today. Everything is apart except the stem and fork. My biggest concern is breaking the stem bolt, so I have it upside down and soaking in PB Blaster before attempting to turn the bolt.

One of the pedals was welded to the crank. After some careful grinding to remove the weld, I got it apart only to discover that someone had forced both pedals on the wrong sides. I'm not sure how they even managed to do it. Needles to say, I'll be replacing the crank and pedals.

Sorry, it didn't seem worth taking any pictures.
