Ready to sand!
DSC00440.jpg

It has many rusty pitted spots and the paint started coming off as i was washing it. With a sponge and soapy water. So painting is the plan. Should be cool.

All the major sanding is done. Started painting today. I am brushing on primer and will wet sand and repeat one more time. Then i will wet sand and spray the color, then wet sand and spray again if needed. Then clear maybe? Will post pics when it's dry.

wet sanded it down tonight, coat 2 of primer in the morning. Can't decide on color yet. Maybe cream, maybe baby blue? Also overhauling the coaster hub too. Never had one apart, cool how they work. By the way this is my first build!

3rd coat of primer on after being wet sanded. Will sand again in a few days then top coats begin. Has anyone ever tried a wood grain pattern? Thinking i may give that a try. Also I gave up on the rims I have, they are to bent up to try to paint and sand and paint, just not worth the time, when I can buy new ones for under 100.00. Other wise can't wait to get it done.

Liked the primer look, after wet sanding the brush stroke make it look like wood up close. Naked looking now with out a light or two. Needs a tank too i think. But she rolls smooth.
