Just missing some tires and some grips. Thinking whitewalls with white grips, maybe a new white seat. So nice to see her almost rideable... And that Ferrari red looks so amazing in the sun, wow.
Here are some closeups of grey paint. Pictures do not doit justice for either the grey or the red. I will have a friend take some with her real camera as soon as I get her over in a nice day and I get the rack on the back. Thanks for the compliments! Came out better than I ever would have imagined for a first redo of a bike, lol.
Just needs rack painted and installed. 12 gauge spokes in back, 14 in front. the rear tire has maybe 1 or 2 mm of clearance from fender. Rear tire is 26"x2.125" and front is 26"x1.75". It is all original except spokes, tires, chain, and bolts (axles included). All the bolts, screws, axles, etc are stainless steel. Lights are LED with separate battery and wiring for each but only one switch in original position. Grey is hammered powder coat. Red is real true old school actual Ferrari red paint. This baby SHINES in the sun. I just wish it was big enough for me to ride comfortably, lol. I guess I will have to settle for riding on the pegs while a woman pedals me around.
Thanks! It was fun for sure. I am very happy it turned out as nicely as it did. I just checked out your Build for 8, very nicely done. Very nice details. I am in Deerfield. Where are you? I am guessing Lantana from your headbadge, lol. We should meet for a ride and a beer sometime to discuss bikes.
