1969 Foremost (Raleigh) ... change

I've got three Raleigh built bikes, two 1967 huffy sportsman and this foremost (jc penny house brand), all three speeds, the huffys were my mom and aunt's when they were kids, and I'm planning on restoring at least one, but I found this in the trash, and inspired by the ... changes on RRB, most notably the ones by renaissance man, I decided to chop this up and make it a boy. For a curb bike, this was in great shape, all the chrome was pretty good, just had to do the foil and water polish on the bars, and with some adjusting and oil the sturmey aw works like a charm.

Is the new top tube 2 pieces welded together, or 1 long tube bent?

I notched the original top down tube, bent it and welded and smoothed the seams.
