I call this my " Basement Spyder". It was hanging in the rafters of my stepsons house, last ridden by his 13 year old father back in the summer of '69. So over 50 years of being inside after only a few months of ride time. It was never tipped over, no scars on the original hand grips either. For some reason he never rode it again! It was still filthy from sitting all of those years, but looked promising underneath that dusty patina. Even the red stripe tires looked great! The only part I didn't trust were the original inner tubes which I replaced. Everything else cleaned up great, using a mind cleanser, gentle polish and wax, 0000 for the chrome, etc. What do you think? It almost looks like 1969 again
