Picked this up on craigslist only 15 minutes from home.
Looks to be all original even the tires and they hold air.
Got it from the original owner.It should claen up nice.
I should be able to save all of the original parts.

Bike came out nice.Had to replace the tubes and brake cables but everything else is original.

I used white vinegar to remove the rust.If you soak the parts for about 12 hours you can wipe the rust off with a rag or use a soft brush.
Works great.I soaked the shifter and it did not hurt the decals at all.
 
That really cleaned up nicely. Now everyone thats selling a rusty Sting-Ray wont drop their because they will say " See, It really will clean up, you just need some elbow grease!"
