Yeah, it's pretty rough and FLAT, use to have a denim seat on it but it fell apart. :shock:
I may use the spaceliner seat, thinking about recovering it. :idea:

Bobbed the rear fender and recovered the flightliner seat :mrgreen: :idea:

Awesome lookin bike. I have the same thing sittin at home too.
I passed it and had to turn around to make an offer, she was in the back of scrap truck.

I'm gonna let it soak in vinegar and clean it up for sure.

I dunno, maybe paint it white to offset the blue and go with the seat and tires?

I was thinking white with some baby blue and black pin striping :idea:

Only bike I've seen this color on that is original. :D
 
can you please post pics of the bottom side of your seat? i have one exactly like it (with the stupid vynle cover) and all i have right now is the pan. id like to recover it in something. thinks

Here's the underside of the pan, a little ratty like my bike. You can see places where the glue was to thick.
