1973 Schwinn Cruiser

Thinking of making a run at this bike but only if I can get the guy down quite a bit. He is asking $ 200 for it. Bike is all original and has some great patina. What do you think is a fair price for it?

The front wheel isn't Schwinn and the chain guard is Schwinn, but much older than 1973. It's a good bike if the wheels are true though. The forks look slightly bent backward, an easy fix but still not perfect. I'd call him out on the original claim and start at 50 bucks and barter up to what I would pay for it.

Probably not gonna happen, at least not now. The guy admitted tires and chainguard were not original but he is pretty set on his price. I sold a pair of cherry vintage Schwinn Fours for 400. After dropping 120 for Schwiin Typhoon tires and correct chainguard would not be worth more than 175 on its best day! Moving on to other bikes.
