My dad obtained a bunch of Stingray stuff today, and a '76 Schwinn Tornado too!
The seller also included a crank, handlebars, seat/post, springer piece, fork, and a goose neck.
February 1971 female Stingray frame and a 26" cantilever frame behind it (not exactly 100% sure if it's a Schwinn).
I just had to replicate Steve's "FRAME-O-RAMA" technique. As you can see, they still aren't lined up as perfect as his were.
From front to back: September 1968 Stingray, December 1969 Stingray, November 1981 Stingray.
Can anyone tell me what's going on near where the brake caliper would mount? I wonder. :? Edit > This is a September 1968.
Here's my dad's 1976 Schwinn Tornado.
And the best picture of them all....
