1976 Sears Free Spirit Ted Williams 5 Speed

finally got around to butonning up this bike. Everything is original except for new cables and chain. Original rear Swallow mag and BF Goodrich front tire. The frame looks like a Murray Eliminator. I wonder if it is? Bike rides like a champ!





What do you guys think?

I'm guessing a '75 or '76 because of the thumb shifter. (frame shifters were outlawed in '74)

I thought it was a Murray. On a related note, a guy in Houston is selling a 1972 Sears Screamer on CL. Very cool bike with the ram handlebars. Just type in Screamer on CL search bar to see it. He is asking $ 850 for it.

Thanks ME! I thought those ugly white clips that it came with were after-market but that does not seem to be the case. Kept those ugly suckers in case someone wants them when I sell it. Looking for an authentic triangle front reflector for bike.
