Picked this up today. Not sure what it is. Can tell me which parts are original .
Sugino goose neck.
Viscount aero seat.
Tuff neck seat post clamp.
No info on forks or bars but they do not seem to match the rest of the bike.
Frame has sticker on the down tube .It looks like it has a picture of a mongoose and it has
bmx products 1980 printed on it.
Any information on what it is or if it has any value would be great.
Also not sure if crank and sprocket are correct
Thanks

Looks like a 80s model Motomag frame and fork. Check the serial number on the bottom bracket. The second digit indicates the year it was made. If there's a "T" stamped there then it would be a team model and there would also be a flat spot on the drive side seat stay. That would increase the value quite a bit.

Viscount Aero seat and it looks like there is a Mongoose decal on the fluted seat post.

It's definitely a bike that has been pieced together...nothing original to a Motomag. The wheels are later model wheels as well as the crank and chainring.

If you're looking for the value in the bike then you'd need to part it out to maximize the dollars. I might be interested in the seat, bars and stem if you do part it out.

The "T" on the bottom bracket stands for team. Combine that with the flat spot on the drive side chain stay and the remnants of candy red paint and it all says Team model.

Frame and fork set is probably worth $200-$300.
